The Lair formicarium was designed with Myrmecocystus spp. in mind, a horizontal-style formicarium that provides areas where repletes can hang from comfortable while being forced near the glass surfaces for optimal viewing.  This formicarium, while designed specifically for the genus, is recommended for any ant species.
