The Mini Hearth formicarium is Tar Heel Ants version of a beginning ant farm or formicarium.  This user-friendly ant habitat is meant for small colonies (click here see our bundles that include a Mini Hearth Formicarium and an ant colony).  There are tutorials on YouTube available, as well as a PDF guide to dig into the Mini Hearth in more depth.  Out-of-the-box, the Mini Hearth is one of the most user-friendly starting formicaria around!  Email tarheelants@gmail.com with questions.   We also have a shop in Raleigh, North Carolina available for appointments!
